Your website doesnt work and never showed me as fitted until I had to call in to give sizing.
The girl that we reserved the suit with was very rude and then the girl that was there for the final fitting with my Mom was rude as well. The customer service needs to improve dramatically and the suit that my son rented was not professional looking. I was not pleased with how it looked and very thankful that I did not purchase it.
Andi was great. She was friendly, polite and knowledgeable.
During my original fitting, I was not offered a slim option for the suit even though that was an option. So I had to return the suit that was mailed to me in order to get one that fit me properly. Also, I was not allowed to make an appointment for my resizing and had to wait about an hour to be helped. Do better.

Love how efficient it is to purchase and suit and that there is in house tailoring. My measurements were wrong the first time and I had to get my pants hemmed and then wait again after they got the pickup date wrong. Other than that very happy with the material, the price, and the friendly customer support.

The person doing the fitting wasn't very helpful considering we had never rented a tux before.. the pants and shirt ended up being a bit to small. We were able to make it work but I feel he should have guided us a bit better. The tux was for my 14 year old who did say it was fine because he didn't want to speak up... both our faults. Next time I will be way more involved in the fitting process instead of trusting the staff.
We went for the tux fitting on a Saturday close to when the store opened. There were only two people working. We waited for 45 minutes before being helped. We had another appointment elsewhere, so we almost had to leave before being helped. I had tried to make an appointment, but you do not do appointments for prom. I think a sales associate could have helped someone else while a man was trying on clothes to help speed up the process when the store is that busy and/or get more people to work there on a Saturday in May.
Even though the pants were supposed to be the right fit, they were too tight. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to go back to the store to get another pair because my son was on his way to prom.

People fitting me didn’t explain anything, and were just rude. I am 18 and went in by myself. They clearly cater to parents during prom and not the students.
The man who served me had the flu. That's normal, but it's disrespectful to serve so many people without wearing a mask. The people she served go to celebrations with other people and unknowingly infect others.
I would recommend more seriousness and responsibility.
The representative who did my initial measurements was super nice efficient and very knowledgeable even though it was busy in there she did not make me feel rushed and she explained fully how the retail process would work
When I picked up my tux that representative was nice as well and again made me feel like I didn’t have to rush

Nice suits and friendly service. The gentleman at the 1974 Hacienda Drive store in Vista was a true pro, great to work with. Got in and out of there faster than the nearby burger joint's drive-thru.

I especially liked that the tux could be shipped to me and shipped back. This was not told to me when I was in for sizing but when I called to confirm the bow tie color, it was offered. This was a great service that saved me time and fuel.
Got two jackets, both didnt fit. Was told id get replacement shoes in the mail but didnt.
When I went in I had no idea of what I wanted and the lady helped me out really happy real professional I would recommend people
I’ve rented from friar twice and bought 3 suits from them, all for weddings. Every single time they make me go in 4 to 5 times for each suit and they do a terrible job of communicating.

You should accommodate your customer for personal urgent necessities during their business with your facilities/location.

The entire process. It was my first time renting a suit for my son, and the whole process was great. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the prices were very reasonable, and the suit looked great!

I rented a suite for a wedding but ultimately decided not to ware it. I have a wide chest and shoulders and a relatively narrow waste so the rental suits just didn't fit me as desired. In order to fit my shoulders, we had to size up but then I was swimming in the mid-section of the suite. When I picked up my suit after the fitting I thought it was good enough, however after trying it on again before the event, it was just not going to work and wasn't something I could wear confidently. I don't necessarily expect to get a refund, because technically I did sign off on the fitting, but I am disappointed with my experience and likely will not and frankly can't rent a suite from Friar Tux if it cannot be tailored.
The wait time for pick up was too long. Communication could have been better. I could have been informed prior to pick up that inventory had not yet arrived.

Online measurements collection questions were vague. Picked up tux and there was no shirt and pants were too tight and too short. I had to come back again and this was a very big inconvenience with our travel plans.
The person at the register was Very rude. He has been there for six years so he thinks he can be rude and get away with it

The customer service at the location I picked up was horrible. They were impatient and seemed to be bothered by my picking up the tux. Also the tux jacket did not fit and I needed to return the following day. The next day the service was just as bad. Rude customer reps and poor service. I would used this company again and I certainly would rent again.
The female employee that helped me pick up my suit was the single most suiting and terrible customer experience I've ever had. I was shamed for picking up my suit 2 days later than I was supposed after being told that I could. They wouldn't let me try it on

Poor customer service every time I go in This is no awareness of customers time for example customers waiting 30 minutes to pick up and drop off. No acknowledgement the customer is there and estimate of wait time or apology for being late. Numerous people working but not efficient in their time management was extremely poor not overseeing what's happening. Definitely to hire someone that does lean management and understands processes better. Customer service needs to be friendly make eye contact and smile and have conversations I post ignoring and just walking around like they're stressed out. I feel like it was better organization and time management things can be done differently. Also kiosk which information is never used and they ask what are you here for even though already been inputted.

I came in on a weds to try on my tux.. the jacket sleeves were the only item that didnt fit. I came back on Thurs to pick everything up. The staff member that gave me the tux opened up the top of the garment bag and looked through it while verbally listing the items and handed everything to me. It all sounded good and normal.. Fast forward to getting ready for the wedding. I'm the best man and my brother is the groom. We're getting ready together in my hotel suite, the rest of the groomsmen soon to arrive as well as photographers. I open my garment bag just to find there is no white shirt or cuff links/studs. I couldn't believe it. I could have sworn it was all verified when i picked it all up. It was too late for me to go to the local friar tux, or any store for that matter. Fortunately, the wedding planner had someone that could run the errand for me. $150 later, I had a shirt that worked. Still, I did not have the same cuff links or studs as all the other groomsmen, which is evident in all the photos. I received a refund for the rental cost of these items, somewhere around 25$, but this isn't even close to the 150$ cost I had to pay the planner to arrange a new shirt for me, and the irrevocable differences in the wedding photos. Unless I'm forced to. I will not be using Friar Tux again.
Everybody from start to finish was amazing. I had to do multiple changes and they were always helpful. Never complained and always professional.
