Highly recommend checking out the many odderings at our Goderich Y! Great place to met like minded folks when you are new to the community.

Fees are on the expensive side. Other pools have specialized hip and knee aquafit. Would be great to have that.

I like the pool, the gym equipment and the floor space to do stretching

It was the most knowledgeable info with great cardiac rehab! Thank you

all the help I get!

It’s a great place to keep my joints moving. Joining a class allows members to make friends.

The cost to add classes and swimming is high.
Also an annual pass would be nice.

Great place to workout
Offers everything you need
Staff is amazing

I had issues with my knees and aquafit has been the best exercise for me. It has kept me fit and mobile.

Has everything I need to stay fit and keep my workouts interesting. Friendly helpful environment!

Very helpful and friendly and welcoming

I had previous good and satisfactory experience in an other area of the ymca, and that was the reason that I joined in this location, too. Hope to have a long relationship in here, too.

It’s very clean. Staff are respectful and friendly.

Excellent variety of classes with top notch instructors … always lots of fun!!

Install fogged wall 1/2 way between lobby area and swimming pool.
Signs up asking people in public areas to please give privacy to those in swimming pool. Include this in upstairs workout room, too as people stand and watch. 🤨
Have more evening aqua swims.

Excellent classes , lots of availability , but would like more evening or saturday aquafit

It's got great equipment, great people who work there. Everyone is willing to help if you need it.

Drop the prices.

used the fitness center

Staff were all friendly & helpful. Water temperature was very nice. Beautiful pool. Really enjoyed the hot tub after the aquarobics class.

Some in house snack or food options would be great. It would be nice if there were family open gym time options after core working hours (after 4:30pm) on weekdays. The monthly price is a little steep amidst all the other competing cost priorities in life. Other than that, the experience has been nice. Staff are friendly and the swim class experience has been fun.

Better hours. We all work. So why are you closed on the weekends when we can actually get there abd use the facilities

The Y provides excellent / clean workout facilities and the staff are great and available. Memberships are flexible by program requirements and also by time ( can be put on temporary hold if needed). If anything, monitoring the correct use of the track would be helpful.

This facility offers such a variety of activities and offers levels for beginner to advanced. There are several time slots in efforts to accommodate the wide range of needs along with taking into consideration work schedules. The building is very clean and the staff helpful and cheery…always feel welcomed and valued as a member. I am pleased that the temperature of the pool has been increased thus making it a more enjoyable time. The gym and cardio offers many opportunities along with trained staff to set up a personal program to help you meet your goals. The walking track too is such an asset and love that the floor is not difficult on your joints. The ice surface is a favourite among many groups and is a proud venue for the continuation of the Young Canada Hockey tournament during March break…actually where Wayne Gretzky played when he was a young boy. It is wonderful that this tournament has been able to continue, having reached its 75th year in 2026. Now that speaks loud and proud for all the staff, coaches and volunteers that are so dedicated. I am excited that our small town has a YMCA that has such well developed programs to guide the people of the area to reach their full potential in regards to their health and wellness.

Great effort by Goderich Y to accommodate people's desires in programming and times locally. Obvious to us and appreciated!
