Great courses lead by knowledgable and friendly instructors
Group exercise classes.
Excellent facilities, convenient schedules and friendly knowledgeable staff!
The aquatics programs are top tier/top notch. The aquatic facilities are beautiful and well maintained.
The coaches are very friendly and informative. I'm looking forward to begin the program.
Too much attention focused on Pride month (way over the top).
I love the helpful and professional staff, class offerings and the fact that the entire gym is well maintained!!!
Variety of classes with good instructors. Good selection of workout equipment and many cardio machines. Clean facilities. Good personal training options and staff.
Excellent quality facility and staff!
Clean modern facility. Machine reasonably available
Everyone who works there is so friendly! The gym has everything I need.
Mens locker room and showers need work. I recognize the cost, but the facilities are very outdated
Front desk staff should have equal rights training to treat all customers with same respect
A few more machines so people dont have to wait as long.
Can you introduce a badminton court in the gymnasium, if already available, and I missed it please ignore this message
Equipment is not being maintained...selected machines often down or not working. Focus on before/after care kids & pool.
The locker room is very clean, the main pool is warm enough, and all staff are friendly
The coaches help the students a lot. However i would like to get over communicated have have to push for follow ups
Friendly and well equipped gym, which is my focus these days.
Limited class availability (more Pilates mat classes in the evenings would be nice - there's only 1 per week and it's in the morning on a weekday. I've been told for years that it's hard to get Pilates teachers. Maybe it's because you're not paying enough?). More of an issue is that the building is falling apart - have you looked at the ceiling in the Mind/Body room... tiles missing, water damage, stains, flickering lights... The Group Exercise room also is in terrible shape. I've been coming to the Y for 20+ years because of 1 class (Spanda Fusion) and will continue to as long as that class is at the Y, but the state of the building in such a wealthy town is so sad. With so many wealthy donors, and now that the Y is part of the Greater Somerset Y (which looks gorgeous!), why has 'putting a bandaid on a major issue' the solution time and time again?
Clean, usually you can get the equiptment without a long wait, hours good and price fair
1) It would have been great if CIT had been offered as a one-week option for those who wanted to take other classes like gymnastics or cheer that are only available for a week.
2) The field trips were booked several weeks in advance, which is unusual for the past three to four years. It’s important to be able to register a week in advance because plans can change. It seems like there was a shift in how parents could cancel or reserve spots, as parents could now cancel instead of reserving a spot only if their child could attend.
3) The kids complained that this year’s activities were not well-planned. They were told to go and do something, but I’m not sure if this was always the case. In the past summer, the kids had not mentioned this issue.
Clean friendly staff plenty of equipment a great place to workout
Administrator, Melissa, is extremely rude and unhelpful and should not be interacting with parents. It’s ridiculous that you need to pay a $75 try out fee which goes to having a coach there. It’s your decision to have the try out and isn’t that part of the coaches job? Why do the coaches not provide feedback after try out? How are we supposed to know what to work on without feedback? Team selection seems extremely arbitrary. Had high hopes for this team and was throughly disappointed.
I did an eGym training session and the trainer, Christian, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging and I really enjoyed the session. I’ve only ever had good experiences at this Y!
