Wide variety of programs--client-oriented, knowledgeable staff--outstanding facility

I like the options available for fitness classes. However, what I enjoy most is the feeling of community I find at the Y.

I was taught to swim @ the Y.
Have made some lovely friends.

Have been a member for years. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The program I attend is perfect for my age group and something I look forward too. Thank you for this opportunity to express my feelings!

I use the gym 5 days a week. All of the Staff are so kind and helpful!
There are workout classes the pools etc.
So much to do in one facility!

Mostly more cleaning of the facility overall. The change rooms especially could be cleaned more often or at least more thoroughly

I enjoy working out on my own schedule as weird as socializing with other people.

Retain instructors. The Y currently lacks continuity. Declining class options in the evenings(yoga) and mornings(spin) have been an issue.

Sense of community. Good classes

New entry/exit automatic doors are a great addition/first impression on entering. I’m sure the parents carrying a toddler and their bags of items for the children must be especially pleased. The reception personnel are very welcoming and also helpful when needed. I attend the 8:00 a.m. Light and Lively classes with very good instructors each of whom vary their class exercises so we are alway getting something interesting and different. The only complaint from the class attendees is that the audio system/micsfor the instructors DEFINITELY needs to be improved. It is often, if not always, difficult to understand their instructions as well as any other conversation they like to have with the group. We are often unresponsive to their conversation because we aren’t understanding what they said.
Love the new gym floor. I understand there will be a new curtain to divide the gym. Hopefully that is still to come and then perhaps the dustballs will be cleared off the ledges and the upstairs windows washed. I realize the Y is a very large facility and general maintenance must be ongoing however the pool windows are looking very bad and I don’t recall the last time they looked clean.

I love the family atmosphere and the variety of classes on offer. The wellness center is well supplied with weights. The staff is encouraging and friendly.

Friendly staff …. Clean and bright atmosphere

Great facility. Plus services are excellent but expensive. Should have the ability to bring a guest in a regular basis for free.

Improved hot/cold water control and better maintenance of shower area. Insects on shower walls and often no soap.

Needs to have better hours on the weekends. The weight room is too small and open. They over lap too many classes especially on weekends.

Good staff. Good, clean facilities.

Weightroom has good equipment and pretty spacious. Wish hours were extended on the weekend. Some instructors might wanna be a bit nicer when kicking people out the gym for the next program coming up

The YMCA is a very friendly place and the facilities are top notch.

Great easy experience. I wish there was a "punch card" option. I'm using the gym for physio and getting a two week membership is too expensive to only use once a week.
