Overall I was satisfied with the friar tux experience. The website wasn’t very user friendly and I had a hard time selecting what I needed but once that was done the rest was mostly seamless.

Cody was BEYOND AMAZING to work with. He helped us find the perfect suits for my daughter's wedding and even helped all the guys with the fittings. There were a few suits that didn't fit first try, but replacements were quickly sent out and everyone had perfect fitting suits for the wedding and looked amazing.
Everything came on time, was in good shape and the return was super simple.
The suits fit all 14 men perfectly which made a beautiful wedding.

Everything went smooth. I live in Texas and I went and got fitted in my town in Texas and sent the measurements to FRYE tux. Everything seemed to work out pretty well. My jacket was a little small and I had to get another size bigger when I got to Bakersfield. The only thing that I did not like about the entire experience was the fact that when I took my tux back, I placed it in the box that they shipped it to Texas in. The young lady at the counter told me that she would not accept it in the box that I had to keep the box. We went back-and-forth about that because I was just going to leave the tux shop and head to the airport to catch a plane back to Texas and there was nothing I could do with the box and I told her that, but she still insisted that they do not do box returns. After I told her that I was just going to walk out of the store and leave it on the countertop she reluctantly took the box. If you were going to send a box in the mail with a tuxedo in it, you should very seriously think about taking the tux back with the box that you sent to the customer. Everything else was good. That’s why I give you a score of eight, but her customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Provided with inconsistent customer service information. Some representatives were great. Others were rude. Sizing was awful
Although I am generally doubtful about rentals, Friar Tux offered quite a reasonable service for the price. The first time the suit came, it fit pretty decently given what I put into the online form, only the jacket was a bit tight across the shoulders and I could see it stretching when I opened or raised my arms.
Since there's no extra charge to request differently sized garments, I figured I'd try to size up on the jacket knowing that I could always fall back to the one I already had in case the new one fit worse. I called in and was pleasantly surprised because not only was I able to order a sized up jacket, I could separately adjust the sleeve length as typical sleeve length is generally long for me on any given size. Also, I figured adding another 1.5" on the rise of the pants couldn't hurt either since they were sending me a package anyways.
The new garments came and they fit better than the first, which was great! Overall, I think Friar Trux fully met my expectations for fit. The only thing I think could potentially be improved is the shipment process - I put in my order near the beginning of May but had to wait over 1 month before the clothes actually got shipped out to me. I think if they shipped things out more quickly after you put in the order, it would allow more time for trying on the suit and ordering any adjusted garments.
All of my groomsman party had to send at least one item back.

Overall very disappointed. Used you guys from a previous wedding I attended and it went great. Which is why I chose Friar for my wedding. Would not recommend.

I was very skeptical. I got my son fitted and ordered to the specs and everything fit like a glove. Everything was pressed and nice. Would definitely rent again.
During the ordering of a rental, there was a mistake made and two items wear accidentally purchased instead or rented. The location would not reverse the transaction to change to a rental. I’m very unhappy and dissatisfied.
Unknown charges on my credit card make me want to not do business with you again. Perhaps sending an invoice would be appropriate.
Your Customer Service is very good and helpful. You need to figure out a better way though to pack and ship the garments as all of the garments in our wedding party arrived extremely wrinkled and with some hem issues! And while your team was extremely nice in trying to correct the issues, all of the replacement shipments also arrived in poor condition. I’m not sure I could recommend Friar Tux.
The rental experience was easy and stress free. Phone operator very courteous discussing shipment of items that were not perfect fit. Will definitely rent again. One point less as the jacket that was ordered as Regular turned out to be available in Slim only
