i am not able to always get into the class times i want and put on a waiting list or hedge my bets and go on 2 waiting lists in hopes i get into 1 class. i have to keep track of the time so i don't get charged, etc.. would love a pure barre location by the mall area/west side of appleton
Its not fun anymore. Most of the teachers dont even seem to want to be there. I saterted in December of 2024, and I went at least 4 days a week. Now im lucky to go 4 days a month. I have a pure lifestyle membership. I used to be excited to walk into that door. Everyone seemed to want to be there, the environment used to be welcoming and exciting. Now it just seems like most everyone is going through the motions. Yeah sure my life got busy, but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be fun or exciting to be there. Jen actively seems to be bored while she is teaching. And Hailey teaches in a way that feels like you should just be watching her and not actually doing the workouts. The new policies have made it even worse to even think about signing up. Im about 99% sure that when it comes time to renue my membership I will just drop out. Its not fun anymore and just feels like a chore that is costing me $150 a month.
I love the classes so much. I don't love the cost and not being able to get into some of the classes.
I love that I am challenged to work my entire body in a way I normally would not on my own.
I like the challenging classes and all of the instructors are so encouraging. It honestly means a lot that they all make an effort to remember everyone's name. I'd love to see more Define on the schedule! It's always waitlisted =)
I attend the 6:00 AM weekday classes. Over the past few months, it has become increasingly difficult to get into classes (especially Define, Empower, and Reform). I don't think reducing the number of classes you can book fixes this at all since it is still the same problem, just on a shorter timeline. Having an unlimited membership may actually be a negative since I won't be able to get into class everyday because more limited memberships can book out the D/E/R classes faster than those who enjoy taking Classic and Align. I have to book out those three classes ASAP, and just wait until week of to see if I can get into Classic and Align while hoping that I won't miss out on a future D/E/R classes. When I am able to get into the class, the classes have become so overcrowded that they are no longer enjoyable. During Empower last week, I had to constantly adjust/move so that I wouldn't bump into the person next to me. I don't want to be more focused on space availability than my workout. I love these classes, but unfortunately I think there either needs to be less people or a bigger studio. I will give it another month or so, but I need to switch gym memberships if it doesn't improve. I spend a lot on my unlimited membership and it's frustrating to have to worry this much about scheduling and "negotiating space with neighbors." It feels like recruiting new members takes priority over satisfying current members, which is a little unfortunate since I do enjoy the classes themselves.
The variety of classes is amazing. I never get bored. I am stronger than I ever have been and the instructors are all great - encouraging and they don't judge.
I love that I can come here and completely escape for an hour and focus on my workout. I feel stronger and more confident after every class. It has helped me be a better mom & more positive human.
Booking is problematic most times. I know this is being addressed but when you are on a class pack and there are only a few days you can make a class, I have to scramble or sacrifice other things to make a class.
App is slightly confusing to use and find membership information. Like I wanted a reminder on cancellation policies and it was difficult to find in the app. Appreciate the steps taken to get AM class waitlisted alleviated, that will hopefully be helpful too!
The body sculpting
Everything! I love the variation of workout formats, the instructors' attention to technique, and the overall vibe with its lovely members! :)
Early define classes seem to always be full, maybe adding more times
I feel like I get a good nonstop workout for 50 min. I love the encouragement and positive feedback from the instructors. I love that the gals that work there really help you set goals!
It's just always a good vibe, happy energy, overall just a good experience. It's an hour where I get to just focus on myself and push myself. Getting the corrections during class is also super great.
The workout is great and there are a variety of class types. The community and staff are fabulous.
I love that it focuses on strength training and that I never feel judged in class!
The early classes are always waitlisted
I love the warm feeling I get as soon as I walk in the door. It's home! I love the variety of workouts and even though it's Classic or Define.. you never know what you're gonna get! I feel stronger, healthier and happier! Love.. love.. love it. Obviously with that is all the tremendous instructors who each bring their own personalities & creativity to each class. Thank you for all you do!
Workouts in all five formats are challenging, never the same, and keep me motivated to show up. I love the supportive, encouraging environment. The only group fitness classes that made me feel like I belong, and help me develop strength in muscles I did know I had. I look forward to each class - whether at 5 AM or 5:30 PM.
Very positive and make everyone feel welcome!
Some days are heavy on just one class type I wish there were more mid day classes
I really enjoy the accountability of a class and having a group fitness class. The best part of barre is the instructors. They have such a passion for barre and work to correct your form to make sure you making the most of a workout.
The atmosphere is fantastic and I always leave feeling energized and accomplished.
I love the community, uplifting instructors and that with each workout I feel stronger.
