i am not able to always get into the class times i want and put on a waiting list or hedge my bets and go on 2 waiting lists in hopes i get into 1 class. i have to keep track of the time so i don't get charged, etc.. would love a pure barre location by the mall area/west side of appleton
Its not fun anymore. Most of the teachers dont even seem to want to be there. I saterted in December of 2024, and I went at least 4 days a week. Now im lucky to go 4 days a month. I have a pure lifestyle membership. I used to be excited to walk into that door. Everyone seemed to want to be there, the environment used to be welcoming and exciting. Now it just seems like most everyone is going through the motions. Yeah sure my life got busy, but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be fun or exciting to be there. Jen actively seems to be bored while she is teaching. And Hailey teaches in a way that feels like you should just be watching her and not actually doing the workouts. The new policies have made it even worse to even think about signing up. Im about 99% sure that when it comes time to renue my membership I will just drop out. Its not fun anymore and just feels like a chore that is costing me $150 a month.
I love the classes so much. I don't love the cost and not being able to get into some of the classes.
I love that I am challenged to work my entire body in a way I normally would not on my own.
I like the challenging classes and all of the instructors are so encouraging. It honestly means a lot that they all make an effort to remember everyone's name. I'd love to see more Define on the schedule! It's always waitlisted =)
I attend the 6:00 AM weekday classes. Over the past few months, it has become increasingly difficult to get into classes (especially Define, Empower, and Reform). I don't think reducing the number of classes you can book fixes this at all since it is still the same problem, just on a shorter timeline. Having an unlimited membership may actually be a negative since I won't be able to get into class everyday because more limited memberships can book out the D/E/R classes faster than those who enjoy taking Classic and Align. I have to book out those three classes ASAP, and just wait until week of to see if I can get into Classic and Align while hoping that I won't miss out on a future D/E/R classes. When I am able to get into the class, the classes have become so overcrowded that they are no longer enjoyable. During Empower last week, I had to constantly adjust/move so that I wouldn't bump into the person next to me. I don't want to be more focused on space availability than my workout. I love these classes, but unfortunately I think there either needs to be less people or a bigger studio. I will give it another month or so, but I need to switch gym memberships if it doesn't improve. I spend a lot on my unlimited membership and it's frustrating to have to worry this much about scheduling and "negotiating space with neighbors." It feels like recruiting new members takes priority over satisfying current members, which is a little unfortunate since I do enjoy the classes themselves.
The variety of classes is amazing. I never get bored. I am stronger than I ever have been and the instructors are all great - encouraging and they don't judge.
I love that I can come here and completely escape for an hour and focus on my workout. I feel stronger and more confident after every class. It has helped me be a better mom & more positive human.
Booking is problematic most times. I know this is being addressed but when you are on a class pack and there are only a few days you can make a class, I have to scramble or sacrifice other things to make a class.
App is slightly confusing to use and find membership information. Like I wanted a reminder on cancellation policies and it was difficult to find in the app. Appreciate the steps taken to get AM class waitlisted alleviated, that will hopefully be helpful too!
The body sculpting
Everything! I love the variation of workout formats, the instructors' attention to technique, and the overall vibe with its lovely members! :)
Early define classes seem to always be full, maybe adding more times
I feel like I get a good nonstop workout for 50 min. I love the encouragement and positive feedback from the instructors. I love that the gals that work there really help you set goals!
It's just always a good vibe, happy energy, overall just a good experience. It's an hour where I get to just focus on myself and push myself. Getting the corrections during class is also super great.
The workout is great and there are a variety of class types. The community and staff are fabulous.
I love that it focuses on strength training and that I never feel judged in class!
The early classes are always waitlisted
I love the warm feeling I get as soon as I walk in the door. It's home! I love the variety of workouts and even though it's Classic or Define.. you never know what you're gonna get! I feel stronger, healthier and happier! Love.. love.. love it. Obviously with that is all the tremendous instructors who each bring their own personalities & creativity to each class. Thank you for all you do!
Workouts in all five formats are challenging, never the same, and keep me motivated to show up. I love the supportive, encouraging environment. The only group fitness classes that made me feel like I belong, and help me develop strength in muscles I did know I had. I look forward to each class - whether at 5 AM or 5:30 PM.
Very positive and make everyone feel welcome!
Some days are heavy on just one class type I wish there were more mid day classes
I really enjoy the accountability of a class and having a group fitness class. The best part of barre is the instructors. They have such a passion for barre and work to correct your form to make sure you making the most of a workout.
The atmosphere is fantastic and I always leave feeling energized and accomplished.
I love the community, uplifting instructors and that with each workout I feel stronger.
The challenge of the workouts and how friendly the staff is.
It's a great workout and all of the employees are so friendly and encouraging!
How it is challenging but so fun and inviting in the same way. Reminds me of dance, and I missed performing.
I love being able to move my body daily alongside other strong, powerful women!!! The instructors help me to stay motivated and push through the burn! Pure Barre hasn't only changed me physically, I have become mentally tougher after attending over 100 classes. Thank you for being just what I need in my busy daysâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸
I love that I am greeted, often by name! I'm guided and challenged. Class is never easy, but I am getting stronger!
I love the whole structure of pure barre. The instructors are amazing and the family feel of the classes are amazing. It is a real community of people lifting each other up and helping everyone grow. It has helped my self confidence in my physical and mental abilities. It is definitely my home away from home.
It close to home and gets me moving. Great staff and community to continue my journey.
It is not that I am disappointed. I like Barre as an addition to my workout routine. I just don't have many friends that would enjoy it. It is not their preferred workout.
I love the classes, the community and teachers, I love how I can come in & out quick to a class. I've never felt stronger in my life!
I love that after a 6-year break from Pure Barre, I was able to jump right back in and feel at home. We moved to the UP where there wasn't a Pure Barre studio, and during that time we started our family. Now that we're back in Wisconsin and done having babies, Pure Barre has become my space to relax, break a sweat, step away from toddler town for a little while, and reconnect with myself. One of my favorite things is the variety. With 5 different class formats, there's always something new to challenge you. Even if your schedule only allows you to attend one time slot, the class formats rotate, so you're not stuck taking the same class over and over. It keeps things fresh, fun, and helps you build strength in different ways. What really makes Pure Barre special, though, is the community. The environment is full of positivity and wonderful people who are there to encourage you, push you, and support youânot judge you. You'll see people of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels in class, and everyone belongs. Whether it's your first class or your 1,000th, you feel welcomed and supported. For me, Pure Barre is more than a workoutâit's an hour that's just for me, and that's been invaluable in this season of life.
It gives me the body shape that I have like longed for. Plus the sense of inclusion is peaceful.
Love Define class and the Pure Barre community is really amazing!
Our Pure Barre studio offers incredible and effective workouts! I love the variety of classes offered. Our instructors are extremely motivating and provide great attention to form and technique. Our Pure Barre community is welcoming, supportive and just a wonderful group of people to be with! :)
I feel happier, stronger, and more confident in my own body plus the staff are an amazing bunch!
This is the only workout program that I have stuck with and actually enjoy. I have been attending classes for year and I continue to be motivated to improve and attend. I feel stronger and healthier, and the staff is so supportive!
The variety of classes offered is great. Each class type can be modified to each person's fitness level so everyone can feel included.
I love the various class formats. Each class within the same format is also different, so you never get tired of your workout. The instructors are encouraging, supportive, and helpful. As an older women who had not taken group fitness classes prior to Pure Barre, I felt comfortable and part of the community immediately. I truly look forward to each class!
I like that it's welcoming and the instructors are kind, motivating, and helpful
It's the friendliest accountability out there! I love the environment and community.
No pressure to go beyond self-identified pace. No pressure to be a part of the community (even though that is nice and supportive). So different than other gyms/classes (as far as content).
Teachers and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. The classes are very effective.
I love Pure Barre because I can customize my workout routine each week depending on my schedule. Also, Pure Barre is fun! I can be social and love all the themed activities!
It's a great challenge as a workout. It makes me feel good about myself and my body. I feel so strong now. The instructors are amazing, pushing us in the best way!! I love it!
Pure Barre Appleton has truly become so much more than just a workout for me.â¨The instructors are incredible â motivating, supportive, and genuinely invested in every person who walks through the door. The environment is welcoming, empowering, and filled with such positive energy that it instantly feels like a safe space to show up as you are. Beyond the workouts, it's the friendships and sense of community that make it so special. The encouragement, the laughs, the shared goals â it all adds up to something that positively impacts my life far outside the studio. I leave every class feeling stronger, more confident, and so grateful to be part of such an amazing community. â¤ï¸
First and foremost the staff. They are fantastic. They are supportive, encouraging and they teach with passion. You know they love to teach. I also love all the variety of classes. They challenge you and keep you wanting more.
