I love the previous staff. They were kind, friendly, encouraging, supportive. I haven't had any contact with the new staff yet. I love the members. Ive met some wonderful elders and I'm grateful for their wisdom.
I think the 11:00 Monday, Wednesday, Friday water aerobic class is way to big. Some of the members dont have space for some of the activities. Also, I think they should be told to not pass the black line close to the steps. Some of the new people haven't been told.
I was offered 3 free sessions with a PT in the fitness room. He was amazing.
OH...The lifeguards are just great!!!
Also, when the curtain is closed in the shower area, dont cut through. Thats happening by adults and kids who get away from their parents. Just a little housekeeping.
The shower needs some mopping and wiping down.
There's been some drama from the newbies in the pool.
Other than that....I LOVE MY YMCA
I’ve been coming to this why since 2018 and this is the worse customer service/front desk associates I’ve seen. From one woman yelling at the kids if they don’t get out the hallway she will call the cops. To being greeted with attitude I’m 55 and understand every now and again your gonna have one of those days. I’ve seen this multiple times as have others. With that being said I love the Y just hate seeing the direction it’s going
Had a great time in water aerobics. Everyone very friendly and helpful!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really enjoy the Les Mills BodyPump classes at the Reidsville YMCA! Emma is a wonderful instructor, and the other instructors I’ve had are also friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. The classes provide a great full-body workout and keep you motivated from beginning to end. I always leave feeling like I got an excellent workout in. Highly recommend!
It would be good if the wellness trainers could be available earlier in the morning.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff
I believe in the Y supporting the community through
Great class. Feel every child needs to learn to swim!
Overall, I absolutely love the Reidsville Y. However, I am concerned about the cleanliness of the locker room showers... I noticed used band-aids sitting on top of the wall between the second and third showers in the ladies' locker room two or three weeks ago. I was out of town all last week, came back in this morning, and the band-aids are still there. They are quite easy to see so it really makes me wonder how often the showers are being cleaned.
Best fitness instructors.
Great atmosphere super staff and the right equipment.
I love the staff; they make it feel like a true community.
I like the classes but I wish the class times were a little later in the morning like 10 am.
Friendliness
The water temperature and the air temperature are not consistent. People have complained the water and air are too cold. They will adjust up after complaints but only for a day or so. This is suppose to be a heated pool. A lot of people use it for health h reasons. This has been going on for several years and people are very tired of it. It is not convenient to go elsewhere but a lot are looking. This should be a simple fix but it appears Jennifer is not interested in fixing it. And in fact very unprofessional when approached about it. Life guards have advised it can’t be adjusted due to impacting the exercise rooms. So for this reason and this reason alone a lower rating otherwise this rating would be a 9 all other staff are great
Atmosphere, different age groups, I've been going to the YMCA since I was a kid. Thank you for giving me a place work out & grow!!! 💘💘
Love the smaller facility. Feels like family
The staff is very helpful and friendly. When I come I don't have to wait on a treadmill to get on or any other machines that I enjoy working out on.
Equipment needs to be looked over thoroughly to see if improvements can be made. ( Small things matter )
( Membership price wise not matching gym / Day pass )
Clean facilities friendly staff
Chris was very polite and professional. He explained things throughly in a helpful way. I would ask questions and he answered them with kindness and humor. My goal is to become stronger and Chris definitely encouraged me. The Fit3D scan informed me that I needed to work on strength as well.
The y is family friendly & you see all ages, shapes, sizes & races there. Very inclusive.
I like my trainers knowledge and personality.
Mo is helping me achieve my goal of increasing my strength and mobility. The sessions are motivational and I am enjoying doing exercises I didn’t think were possible for me.
The aquatics director was amazing at helping find a swim instruction schedule for my son.
