A wonderfully, well-equipped "Y" with an amazing staff that is there to serve it's members. Wouldn't think of going to another fitness center!

It's not always very clean.

The staff at the YMCA are always friendly and very polite. The facility is kept clean and organized. I highly recommend this facility for your fitness and health.

Sometimes it is difficult to get on a machine because folks scroll on their phones for as much asd 5 minutes between sets.

Great facility, wide variety of classes and friendly staff

I've been going to the Y for 30 yrs. I've personally seen the decline of Lifeguard professionalism in multiple cities. I get it, it takes discipline - I was a YMCA lifeguard myself only after witnessing/rescuing a drowning child in a chaotic pool with 7 other lifeguards in the same room! The Schertz YMCA Lifeguards take their job seriously and I highly commend their Aquatic Leader for instilling this training! I feel confident that I am in safe hands when I swim here because of this. TY!

great facility and staff

There are not enough evening aqua group classes. And the two classes offered have very limited slots, which fill quickly.

The facility is clean and well kept. I belong to the Schertz location and it is busy with somewhat restrictive hours, depending on the day. I love the variety of group class offerings, although it seems lately these have less in variety of time and exercise option. I travel often and belong to the YMCA for its national membership offering- that’s a definite plus.

I feel so incredibly happy and comfortable there! Plus, child watch is WONDERFUL, both as a parent, and my kids LOVE going! I love all the machines and options for being healthy! The splash pad is also HUGE for us in the summer!!!

I’d like to see the rock wall removed since it’s not being used. This would provide room for more equipment. Which is about to become even less available with all the kids there all day during the summer. 😕. Wish they had designated times.

The are some machines that are helpful for me.

I love the atmosphere, variety of group exercise classes and the instructor staff. The y is close to my home, so I also live the convenience.

The facility does not offer enough classes. It is frustrating trying to sign up for the classes. Even if you try to sign up right when availability opens, it is difficult to secure a space.There is a limited availability in each class because of the small size of the facility.

Facilities are always clean. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and passionate. I’ve been going to this location since I was a little girl and have zero complaints. Though I wish I could attend more Zumba classes/events!

I’m not able to get in the classes. The website to sign up for classes is not working.

I’ve been coming here more than 10 yrs. Love that we have the gym and pool. Overall a good place. Whether you’re greeted when you come in depends on who’s at the desk. The inconsistency of the staff who open the pool is hard to deal with when you have to skip your 5 am workout bc someone didn’t show up to work on time. Fixing that would be great!

I like the instructor and the fact they always cautious about your well being.
