I just drove 1 hour to get my child here for open gym to play basketball from 5:30-8:30pm which is on the calendar. Only to find out it is closed today and that the YMCA decided to rent the gym out to the city instead without any notice to the members who pay for that service. Not the first time either. Glad a paying contract hold more priority than the members who pay every month. Very unorganized and unprofessional in my opinion.

The facilities are clean and fantastic. The classes and instructors are great! Only two minor issues. It would be nice if there were more cycle class options and back to the bigger studio and more signs / notifications on NO cell phones in locker areas. Too many people use their phones in the mens locker rooms!

Welcoming, friendly staff. The only drawback is when members sit at machines with their cell phones, while others are waiting to use the machines. Maybe this should be monitored closely.

Your branch is very busy. Members sit on workout machines staring at their phones while I wait for them to free up. Your branch does nothing to fix this problem that has been around for a long time.

As a member I felt this summer that scheduling of pickleball times were horrible for members. In particular on Tuesday and Thursday, having our times broken up by the city times. We do pay good money to be a Member and I don’t feel that we are treated well.
The gym areas continue to be dirty especially with camps. There is dirt, food, water etc that we clean up each day with the broom provided but I do hope that all the stuff stuck to the floor will be cleaned up at the end of the summer. Having gum or whatever it is stuck to the surface is a hazard for trips and falls by all membership.

You need better gym equipment. Stairmasters are low quality, nobody uses the peloton yet you have 2 - these are useless. You need more basic equipment like back extension, hip abduction machine, hip thrust machine to cater to women.

Location in the city, professional and courteous staffing, quality and variety of equipment in the gym, reasonable membership rates, cleanliness of locker rooms, extensive day camp and child-minding options, variety of group fitness class options,

I like that I can target my membership to aquatics on a schedule that works for me.

Never make recommendation just in case of dissappointment.

My only issue is lane swimming slots during summer months. Either lunch hours or after work hours are horrible in summer months - ideally at least 3 hour window for each would be better

In my particular order. 1. The card reader beside the public track on the second floor does not work. As a result, I can not access the gym from the public track. 2. The membership card has to be used for the locker which does not allow this card to access the gym from the public walking track which is broken anyway. In other words, bad design. 3. There are not enough resistance machines. There is only one of several types of machines. I am always waiting to use the popular machines. 4. There is no one at the desk in the gym near the public track. There is usually no staff on the gym floor. This is a safety issue. Overall, disappointing.

Staff and members are very friendly and approachable. Love the 200 meter track in conjunction with the weight machines.

Workout area cleaning needs to be improved. Treadmills and elliptical machines are dusty. Air exchange vents are coated in severely inches of dust!

Have evening aqua fit classes and more adult swim time

I go to the aqua fit classes and find them very well run lockers are always available and the change rooms and shower area always clean
