I drove 20min from the north to bring my daughter for open swim, she was very excited, it was our first day to try YMCA to be disappointed for a staff to not let my daughter swim, she said I have to swim with my daughter. I had to drag my crying child home. The next week i brought her again, with me in the pool this time, just to be disappointed for the staff to let a child swim without a parent beside him, the child was even smaller than my 7yr old. I confronted the staff and asked why, she just told me "I guess some staff are just more strict." I felt very disappointed for being sent home the last time. If you implement policies, it should not be half cooked and not just for some.
Maybe it is because the group is for toddlers or babies I feel that I don't get the value, there have been clases that are just "free" play
Wonderful for all family under one roof
The teacher's attention.🙂
Swimming classes are great
Swim lessons are fun and productive. Our kids are seeing real progress.
Excellent instructors, small class sizes, and ease of registration
Lots of options for all age and ability ranges
I enjoy feedback from the instructors onh ow to help my daughter improve.
The YMCA has lots for family always there to help with a happy smile it's a wonderful place to feel comfortable in
Amazing instructors and volunteers!
facilities are clean
Instructors are always on time. They are incredibly patient with the children. They are flexible during class as some children gain skills quicker than others.
10/10
BRENDEN! He has been SO patient and so kind with my son Emmanuel. He's been a bit anxious in and around the water but Brenden has been so encouraging and I cannot thank him enough for all his time, patience and effort he's shown towards my son. Thank you for employing such an intentional kind individual!
Great instructions
Lessons are well paced and the tutor (Dylan) is very engaging. Our children look forward to their swimming lessons.
Staff was disorganized and not great with beginner kids. Should be using someone experienced.
My daughter did not learn a single thing even after 6 classes. Her instructor focused on kids who apparently already knew how to swim but were still registered in beginner's program. Zero encouragement from her to try swimming. She seemed more like "okay let's just get over these 30 minutes." After noticing this I had to unfortunately pull my daughter out of the program and even got her YMCA membership cancelled. I found it to be extremely disappointing and a total waste of money and time 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
I have my daughter in swimming lesson lessons. I find this place to be the best overall. I did have a concern with how the pool was run, but I called in my concern offering a solution and they actually did it so good job!!
should have done better in terms of training focused on swim 4 level and this is not just open swim
Everything.
The evaluation system , very subjective, the team leaders are unable to explain the evaluation method by the instructors
Everything is perfect
