Great facility!

The staff is great , especially personal trainer Sam, she is awesome and the front desk staff. Sarah the centergy instructor is amazing. But you need longer hours - open at 5:30am on weekdays and at 6 or 6:30am on weekends and stay open later at night, especially on weekends.

Love Lina and Friday aquatics . Everyone very friendly.

The staff are very welcoming. The life guards do a great job. Please add more aqua fit classes to the schedule.

Customer service was excellent! Fellow at the desk was quick, pleasant to deal with and despite being very busy - worked calmly and greeted everyone. Loved that! Also the Stoneybrook location is so nice, fantastic price and all of that together makes me very motivated to address my fitness. Thank you!

Solid gym with a good variety of equipment, well maintained. I wish a machine for calves would be added, and maybe one for obliques (if I didn’t miss them).

It’s expensive … the fee used to be monthly but now it’s bi-weekly

Though I am a volunteer I do not access this facility, I do go to others,(just prefer not to work out around members that see me every day) however what I can say is that Stoney Creek is truly amazing to be a part of, and my absolute choice to volunteer at. They are friendly, accommodating, just so willing to do what ever it takes to make everyone welcome, happy and safe, And the volunteers play a huge roll in this practise. I am a big advocate of Stoney Creek, and constantly talk about it and the people wherever I go.

It is barrier free

It’s a great space. I like the way the workout area is. It’s so bright and it doesn’t feel intimidating as a woman working out. The pool is great although I feel like the larger pool temp could be cooler. I wish there was more lane swim available. And pickle ball. Could we get pickle ball for those who are working? But I just love the space and it’s a great place for the family.

Great group fitness instructors

The Stoney creek ymca is a great place to be at, there’s good equipment in the gym. It’s a nice pool, and their gym activities are great. Why my rating is low is because of the price. It is quite expensive for the average gym in the the area which is the only complaint I could mention. Other than that, it’s a great gym.

I love the variety of classes offered. Different options for classes that meet your schedule. Friendly and knowledgeable stafff.
Personal training is available, some come with membership and additional ones for a reasonable fee. Washroom/change rooms are always well maintained. Weight room is well equipped with the walking track nearby.

Its a great complex and everyone is so friendly - I had my little boy in the summer camp for the first week and the staff are brilliant. I wish he could go for the rest of the time but its fully booked! We have just moved to the area from the UK and this place has been a life saver. Thanks all

Your morning hours conflict with every adults schedule.

It’s well laid out and lots of options, even for basic membership, but it’s still a bit expensive. And there seems to still be somewhat elitist elements (more expensive membership gets a better change room).

Stoneycreek YMCA is a happy place. As you walk around everyone just wants to be there.
The activities have well qualified instructors.
The front desk staff are always warm and welcoming.
I could go on and on how wonderful everybody.

The lane swims are very busy and there are too many lanes dedicated to leisure swim lanes. Consider leisure swim lanes be incorporated into open/recreation swims with dedicated lanes.

Lately there has been a lot of students. I don’t mind that per day, but I do mind that they are in their phones while others are waiting for machines. And their choice of language or swear words is very offensive.

Good place for good health

The showers are awful. Either too hot or too cold, not adjustable for comfortable showering.

The facilities are clean and bright and all staff are welcoming and friendlly.

Joining the Y has been a game changer for our family! My daughter loves being with the lovely facilitators at Child Minding, and has been enjoying swimming lessons too. Having the bright open lobby, library and lots of space to play in addition to the workout areas makes it a go to destination for us practically every other day. We love the sense of community here, highly recommend!

Good equipment variety, mostly clean, good price, but treadmills are often not working and take a long time to get fixed

Please fix the water issues and AC. All of the bathroom sinks produce only warm to hot water. It would be nice after a sweaty workout to be able to cool down with some cold water. The gym is too hot and the weight and cardio areas are too hot in the summer, while the new cross fit room is cold.

This location is a beautiful place to be. I usually swim using the lane swimming schedule, but I find it very crowded. I believe it would be nice to have more time open for lane swimming on Saturday morning.
Other than that it's a wonderful site.

Amazing services for parents

I love the pool. I like to swim laps - lots of times available plus I try to get my granddaughter to the pool once a week for open swim. The facility is always clean. Only negative is am I going to be able to have a hot shower after my swim.
Sometimes I have to try 3 different shower stalls .
