Solid gym with a good variety of equipment, well maintained. I wish a machine for calves would be added, and maybe one for obliques (if I didn’t miss them).

It’s expensive … the fee used to be monthly but now it’s bi-weekly

Though I am a volunteer I do not access this facility, I do go to others,(just prefer not to work out around members that see me every day) however what I can say is that Stoney Creek is truly amazing to be a part of, and my absolute choice to volunteer at. They are friendly, accommodating, just so willing to do what ever it takes to make everyone welcome, happy and safe, And the volunteers play a huge roll in this practise. I am a big advocate of Stoney Creek, and constantly talk about it and the people wherever I go.

It is barrier free

It’s a great space. I like the way the workout area is. It’s so bright and it doesn’t feel intimidating as a woman working out. The pool is great although I feel like the larger pool temp could be cooler. I wish there was more lane swim available. And pickle ball. Could we get pickle ball for those who are working? But I just love the space and it’s a great place for the family.

The Stoney creek ymca is a great place to be at, there’s good equipment in the gym. It’s a nice pool, and their gym activities are great. Why my rating is low is because of the price. It is quite expensive for the average gym in the the area which is the only complaint I could mention. Other than that, it’s a great gym.

I love the variety of classes offered. Different options for classes that meet your schedule. Friendly and knowledgeable stafff.
Personal training is available, some come with membership and additional ones for a reasonable fee. Washroom/change rooms are always well maintained. Weight room is well equipped with the walking track nearby.

Its a great complex and everyone is so friendly - I had my little boy in the summer camp for the first week and the staff are brilliant. I wish he could go for the rest of the time but its fully booked! We have just moved to the area from the UK and this place has been a life saver. Thanks all

Your morning hours conflict with every adults schedule.

It’s well laid out and lots of options, even for basic membership, but it’s still a bit expensive. And there seems to still be somewhat elitist elements (more expensive membership gets a better change room).

Stoneycreek YMCA is a happy place. As you walk around everyone just wants to be there.
The activities have well qualified instructors.
The front desk staff are always warm and welcoming.
I could go on and on how wonderful everybody.

The lane swims are very busy and there are too many lanes dedicated to leisure swim lanes. Consider leisure swim lanes be incorporated into open/recreation swims with dedicated lanes.
