I love our YMCA, staff is always friendly, ready and willing to help us, welcome us and include us. There are lots of events and sports to come to and have fun! Facilities are always clean, organized and safe.

The only thing I have an issue with is the lack of floor space for core exercises. I don’t like how the only open space is in the middle of the gym with no wall or “privacy.” I used to like doing my floor exercises in the space beside the basketball court in front of the chalk board wall but now there are machines in that space.

Men’s locker room has more lockers with no locks or locks that don’t work than those that do work.

Cards to remind people to wipe machines has helped. Still issue with people sitting on machines to scroll or just talk but a little better since school back in session. Would be nice if staff could walk through every now and then to see if everything ok.

Recently I lost my YMCA tag which allows me entry to the Y. I told the lady at the counter of my situation and she promptly looked up my registration. I told the lady I wanted another tag. She suggested I should use my cell phone. At 80 years of age I seldom use my cellphone accept to make calls. The lady saw my situation and told me not worry that she would help me. In no time she fixed my cell phone to allow me access to the Y. Thank you so much.

Staff is friendly, space seems to be clean, as I see employees cleaning equipment. Lack of A/C is tough but that should be getting fixed. People seem to be respectful with equipment. Bathrooms are typically clean and the dry sauna has been nice when I use it.

Pool hours for swimming laps could be better. Adding an outdoor basketball court where the tennis/pickleball courts. Covering the outdoor courts would improve it.

I miss the towel service and housekeeping staff. Our water was shut off due to an emergency at our apartments, so we had to go shower at the YMCA on Thousand Oaks for a couple of days. The showers could’ve used some attention…hair everywhere and trash(used q-tips, gum wrappers, tissues/paper towels) in the shower stalls. When this location had housekeeping staff, everything was clean 100% of the time and wonderful. The towel service is greatly missed. I don’t like having to carry a wet towel back home only to not be able to reuse bc I don’t want “gym germs” in my home.

Lots of good group classes and clean facilities. I love the family friendly atmosphere!

This location has such a wide variety of services.

I’m just tired of fighting for Zumba classes. So I’ll be joining Crunch. It’s cheaper for me.

I very much like the steam room!! I live by Seaworld but I drive to 1000 oaks for the steam room. So may i suggest that a “Status Note” be added in your website if the steam room is down. Thank you!

I have been waiting for a callback from Anastasio for weeks. I have expressed concerns with regards to ADA compliance items, as well as hot water fountains that do not work properly. There is also a broken changing room in the womens locker room, removed ceiling tiles in another changing room. And no extra seats in the locker rooms for those who cannot sit on the puffs that are too low to occupy for some.

The other members are friendly and welcoming. The classes are really good. The equipment is always clean.

The staff on the floor needs to be more visible and engaged more with the public. At least say hi and get to know people.

The value for the price is the best ive ever seen! Plus all the employees are amazing!

Our home y is schertz but we make the drive once a week to use the sauna and like this facility much better. The child watch guy who checks us in is so nice. I am so sorry I forget his name but definitely deserves a raise. Made us feel comfortable leaving our kids in their care .. I love how I always see the staff interacting with the children

Place is always filthy, locker rooms, and saunas dirty. Fountain drinks are never cleaned.
